Kristina presented Wild Ones DFW’s mission to connect people to native plants for a healthy planet. She also explained how contributions to Wild Ones DFW during North Texas Giving Day support native plants thriving in every community. Last year donations received from North Texas Giving Day funded the Chapter’s screening of the Homegrown National Park film The Extraordinary Caterpillar at the Grapevine Palace Arts Center this past June. Over 400 people registered for this event. The Meet and Greet before the film presentation, the film screening, and the panel discussion afterwards inspired attendees to take action to create natural landscapes.
