Invasive species are non-native plants or animals that spread outside their natural range and can negatively affect ecosystems, wildlife habitat, and people.

During Native Species Awareness Week, take a look around your landscape and identify any invasive plants present.  Remove invasives and replace them with native plant alternatives that will support a healthier local ecosystem.
