Wild Ones DFW Native Plants, Natural Landscaping invites you to a “Meet and Greet” at Flower Mound Public Library on Wednesday, Oct 16, 2024, at 6:30pm. We will have a quick meet and greet prior to the presentation and then from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, we will attend Proper Tree Selection, Planting, and Care, a presentation by Courtney Blevins, Regional Urban Forester, Texas Forest Service.
Courtney will share his extensive knowledge on selecting the right trees for specific locations, proper planting techniques, and essential care practices to ensure healthy growth. Attendees will learn about assessing site conditions, choosing quality nursery stock, and implementing effective aftercare, including watering, mulching, and pruning. This presentation is designed to empower homeowners, landscapers, and community members to make informed decisions that contribute to sustainable and thriving urban forests.
